Part 1
What is an authentic/original piece of art you have seen?
I was impressed by a piece of Chinese art called Fenghuang Ancient Town, sometimes referred to as Phoenix Ancient Town. It is a breathtaking work of art located in Hunan Province, China, and is well-known for its natural beauty, exquisite architecture, and preservation of traditional Chinese culture. It has buildings from the Ming and Qing Dynasties, beautiful scenery, and customs and festivals from bygone eras.
Did it have an “aura” as Benjamin claims? How so/Why not?
Phoenix Ancient Town is the location of the "Aura." It is an intricate, historically significant piece of architecture, to start with. It is full of courteous details, and in particular, it exudes a grandeur that is hard to find elsewhere. This location creates a sense of greatness through direct visual and tactile contact, and it maintains long-standing customs through markets and specialties.
Can contemporary digital media creations have an aura? Why/Why not?
Today's digital media works can have an "aura". They will easily create unique, updated, and interesting digital works that satisfy viewers because of the strong development of new perspectives on art as well as many advances from 4.0 artists. As a result, ''aura'' has enough requirements to apply. However, the digital copying and reproduction of works continue to remain a mystery, challenging conventional beliefs. As Jeffrey (2015) stated, modern digital media productions may have an aura, defying conventional wisdom.

Part 2
In your own words, define “modernism”
I believe modernism to be a movement that arose in the late 19th and early 20th centuries in response to the advent of technology, urbanization, and industrialization. Since then, it has created inventions that defy convention in a variety of artistic and cultural domains. In an effort to capture the essence of the modern world, artists have expressed themselves creatively through intricate, disorienting frameworks.
What did some people think were the problems with modernism?
Modernism is a subject of conflicting opinions among the public because of its rejection of tradition and lack of social and political involvement, which results in the loss of cultural continuity and connection. More precisely, Stimson and Sholette (2007) also took issue with the following: Modernism has been critiqued from a wide range of perspectives, with some seeing it as individualistic and insensitive to concerns of race, class, and gender.

How is modernism still with us today? Give specific examples.
Due to its continued effect on literature, art, and design, modernism is still relevant today. Because modernism seeks simplicity and minimalism via both visible and unseen objects, it is appropriate. Living in a time where fresh challenges persist, shattering conventional wisdom and revealing the newest industrialization and technological methods. Addressing cultural problems including class, religion, and ethnicity is also important.
A couple of examples are the racial discrimination-focused movies "Hidden Figures" (2016) and "To Kill a Mockingbird" (1962). Alternately, while media texts promote women like Marilyn Monroe, highlighting their strength and beauty as symbols of modernism.
